The newbuilding plan approval service reviews and approves
newbuilding designs, and it is the basis for newbuilding surveys and the
issuance of classification certificates. The criteria for the issuance of
certificates include the applicable rules (including guidelines), conventions, newbuilding
regulations and the statutory requirements of the authorizing flag state, as
well as the agreements/memos signed by CCS and its plan approval clients and
other standards agreed in writing. CCS provides this service to review
thoroughly the main design drawings involving the structure, system and
installation equipment of the ship to ensure the design fully complies with the
various requirements of international conventions, statutory requirements of
flag states and CCS rules.

CCS has plan approval agencies covering the whole of
China, including: China Classification Society Plan Approval Center
Headquarters (Shanghai), Dalian, Wuhan, Jiangsu, and Guangzhou.
CCS has launched electronic plan approval services to
provide clients with more convenient services, which can realize electronic
annotations on drawings, upload and download drawings, project allocation, and responding
to enquiries from clients.

and download functions of electronic drawings helping clients to reduce a large

functions: including the direct query function with the submission and return of

approval information: The watermark information on the returned electronic
drawing page is complete and practical, enabling clients to inquire about the
review unit of the approved drawing, the review time, and the batch of review
comments in detail.
Autonomous
and transparent user management function: the setting method of the main
account and the sub-account enables clients to clearly understand the authority
distribution of their employee accounts and project operations, and to manage
and adjust the situation independently.
Convenient
registration method: account registration and plan approval project applications
are convenient and quick, and the processing results will be automatically sent
by the system via email.
