CCS Engineering Software COMPASS-DSA

COMPASS-DSA is a software independently developed by China Classification Society for the direct strength assessment of ship hull structures in accordance with classification society rules. It is capable of establishing finite element models that meet rule requirements and provides convenient functions such as model checking, mesh refinement, structural grouping, compartment definition, corrosion management, and sub-model mapping. It can perform load calculation, yield assessment, buckling assessment, and fatigue assessment in accordance with China Classification Society rules. Its calculation scope covers the entire ship and is gradually being extended to cover various major ship types.

Functional Features:

Automatic identification of structures and compartments, and automatic generation of corrosion environments.

Convenient parameter input and easy operation, with one-click corrosion deduction and loading.

High post-processing calculation efficiency, diverse result display methods, and automatic report generation.

Scope of Application: Assessment of direct calculation requirements using the finite element method. Applicable ship types are as follows:

Bulk carriers, oil tankers
