CCS Engineering Software COMPASS-SDP

1789349823348

COMPASS-SDP is new-generation hull structure prescriptive requirements assessment software independently developed by China Classification Society (CCS).  The system creates hull geometry and structures through graphic interaction modeling, and provides efficient parametric modeling method, enabling rapid creation of 2D hull structure model, dramatically enhances modeling efficiency and software usability. The system verifies hull girder strength and local strength requirements in accordance with CCS rules. Analyses include hull girder yielding, ultimate and residual strength, hull structure scantling, buckling strength, fatigue strength, bow impact, bottom slamming, liquid tank sloshing requirements, and other special requirements. Calculation covers the whole ship region, and will gradually extend to all major ship types.   Function Features:   ◇Combination of graphic interaction and parametric modeling, enabling rapid creation of whole 2D hull structure model. Providing various model editing and inspection capabilities, such as structure property painter and model checking functions.   ◇ Supporting of CCS’s 2D hull structure model data exchange format (SSD-2D), which can facilitate data exchange with other industry software. Now, has accomplished model data importing from 3D ship design software NAPA Steel.   ◇Automated structural idealization checking and multi-section/one-click rule assessment, providing comprehensive rule evaluation and diversified result analysis tools.     Applicable Scope: 2D hull cross section modeling and prescriptive requirements assessment. Applicable Ship Types:   Version Applicable Ship Types V2.5 《Rules for Classification of Sea-going Steel Ships (Part 2)》 (Dry Cargo Ships, Container Ships, Bulk Carriers, Double Hull Oil Tankers) 《Rules for Classification of Sea-going Steel Ships (Part 9)》《Common Structure Rule》(CSR Bulk Carriers, CSR Oil Tankers) 《Rules for Structures of Container Ships》(Container Ships) 《Rules for Structures of Ore Carriers》(Ore Carriers) 《Rules for Construction of Steel Inland Waterway Ships》(Cargo Ships, Container Ships, Double Hull Oil Tankers) 《Rules for Classification of Mobile Offshore Units》(FPSO) 《Rules for Construction and Classification of Yachts》(Yachts)     Language:Chinese(Provide English Calculation Report) System:Windows 7/10/11,64-bit Version:V2.5(Released on 4 August 2026)   Contact:Siyuan Wang Tel:010-58112300  Email:rd@ccs.org.cn

CCS Engineering Software COMPASS-DSA

1789351642866

COMPASS-DSA is a software independently developed by China Classification Society for the direct strength assessment of ship hull structures in accordance with classification society rules. It is capable of establishing finite element models that meet rule requirements and provides convenient functions such as model checking, mesh refinement, structural grouping, compartment definition, corrosion management, and sub-model mapping. It can perform load calculation, yield assessment, buckling assessment, and fatigue assessment in accordance with China Classification Society rules. Its calculation scope covers the entire ship and is gradually being extended to cover various major ship types.Functional Features:Automatic identification of structures and compartments, and automatic generation of corrosion environments.Convenient parameter input and easy operation, with one-click corrosion deduction and loading.High post-processing calculation efficiency, diverse result display methods, and automatic report generation.  Scope of Application: Assessment of direct calculation requirements using the finite element method.
