On February 7, 2025, lights glittered in the Harbin Ice-Snow World, and the main torch of the 9th Asian Winter Games was ignited here. Multiple top events including the Chinese New Year, Harbin, and Asian Winter Games attracted great attention. Instead of falling silent due to the cold, the frozen Songhua River in Harbin is waiting for tourists from all over the world to come and have fun together.

As one of the important tools for winter water travel on the Songhua River, the hovercraft can travel at high speed on the ice surface with its unique lifting technology, and has become a popular ice and snow sport that tourists are eager to experience. In order to ensure the safety of hovercrafts as well as domestic and foreign tourists during the Asian Winter Games, the ship surveyors have conducted a comprehensive physical examination of the hovercrafts operating on the Songhua River, regardless of the severe cold, wind and snow. Based on the performance characteristics of the hovercraft, strict inspections were carried out on key parts including the operation status of the ships hover fan, firefighting and rescue equipment, lighting signal system, radio communication equipment, pollution prevention equipment, propulsion device, etc., and the validity of the ships certificate was also verified to ensure that the technical conditions of each hovercraft meet the seaworthy conditions and that every crew member is competent.

At the same time, the ship surveyors have actively showed the crew members about safety production, safe operation, and environmental protection requirements, and conducted ship safety inspections before sailing to ensure that the crew members strictly follow the regulations while driving the ship, and protect the ice surface environment. In addition, the surveyors have patiently answered the questions of the crew members, guided them in correct operation, and performed daily maintenance and emergency handling of the hovercrafts.

The Asian Winter Games are in full swing, and CCS will be on duty throughout the event, fully fulfill its duties and responsibilities, and make every effort to guarantee the safe operation of ice tourist ships during the Asian Winter Games.
