“TIE JIAN FENG DIAN 2000” offshore wind power installation platform is another important equipment for offshore wind power installation of CRCC Harbour & Channel Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. This platform was invested by ABC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., and designed by the 708 Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. It have piles of 130m length, a single pile pre-loading capacity of 15000 tons, and a maximum operating water depth of 80m. It is equipped with a pile-winding main crane with a lifting capacity of 2000 tons and a 400 ton auxiliary crane, three 2800 kW fully-rotating thrusters and a DP2 power positioning system. After construction, it will be mainly used for offshore installation of wind turbine generators of 20 MW and above. Since the project was constructed in June 2023, the on-site stationed team has strictly made surveys according to the regulations and rules, fully leveraged the responsibilities of a survey main force, cooperated closely with the shipyard and the owner, and worked overtime to complete the key tasks including pile leg pre-loading, pile pressing and lifting tests, effectiveness and lifting tests of main and auxiliary cranes, sea trials, etc., and guaranteed the successful delivery of the platform.

The successful delivery of the “TIE JIAN FENG DIAN 2000” project has fully reflected CCS’s implementation of the national dual-carbon policy. Since 2022, CCS has successively undertaken the survey of heavy offshore wind power units such as “Bo qiang 3060”, “HUA XIA HONG HU 01”, and “TIE JIAN FENG DIAN 2000” constructed by CIMC Raffles Group. The on-site stationed team has received unanimous praise from the construction plant for their superb skills and warm services.
