China Classification Society (CCS) Issued the First Intelligent Manufacturing Compliance Certificate to China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.

On March 21, Zhao Yan, Vice President of China Classification Society (CCS), led a team to visit China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., issued the first “Certificate of Compliance on Maturity of Intelligent Manufacturing Capability for Shipyard” certificated by CCS, and had cordial talks with the General Manager Mei Zhonghua, Deputy General Manager Sun Xuerong, etc. of China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.

Mei Zhonghua extended a warm welcome to Zhao Yan and his delegation, and thanked CCS for its support and recognition. He said that the China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. has always been committed to digital transformation, and intelligent manufacturing is an important direction for its development. He hopes to further promote the integration of digital technology and shipbuilding through in-depth cooperation with CCS, accelerate the development and application of intelligent manufacturing in ships, and make greater contributions to high-quality development of the shipbuilding industry.
