Recently, China Classification Society (CCS) Dubai Branch and Highlander held an intelligent ship technology and new product promotion meeting in Dubai.

Recently, China Classification Society (CCS) Dubai Branch and Highlander held an intelligent ship technology and new product promotion meeting in Dubai. The representatives from local shipping companies, shipyards, and equipment service providers gathered together to discuss the application and development prospects of cutting-edge intelligent ship technologies. The Chinese Embassy in the United Arab Emirates dispatched representatives to attend the meeting for guidance.

 


 

At the meeting, Lu Wei, the manager of the Inspection Department of CCS Dubai Branch, introduced the construction of the intelligent ship rules, intelligent technology assessment and certification services, and digital operation and maintenance support capabilities, and shared CCS’s typical experience and technological achievements in serving the global development of intelligent ships. Highlander released multiple innovative achievements for future intelligent ship management, covering multiple fields including intelligent navigation assistance system, ship-shore collaboration platform, ship cyber security solutions, etc.

 





 

CCS has always upheld the principle of development based on technology to promote high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative with high-quality services, continue to strengthen technical exchanges and business cooperation with the shipping industry in the Middle East, actively promote the technical standards and assessment services of intelligent ships, and facilitate high-quality development of the regional shipping industry.
