On June 10, 2025, China Classification Society (CCS) and Everllence held a certificate-awarding ceremony for four-stroke methanol dual-fuel engines in Copenhagen, Denmark.
At the ceremony, Lu Xiangdong, General Manager of CCS Hamburg Branch Gothenburg Office, presented an approval certificate for the L21/31DF-M methanol dual-fuel engine to Everllence. This certificate is also the first classification society approval certificate obtained by Everllence after its renaming, marking an important achievement in low-carbon/decarbonization technology cooperation between the two parties and having milestone significance.
During the ceremony, CCS and Everllence jointly reviewed their sincere cooperation and close collaboration during the project certification process, and jointly guaranteed the successful completion of the project. Everllence also expressed gratitude for the professional services provided by CCS throughout the entire certification process, and looked forward to future deeper cooperation between the two parties. In the future, CCS hopes to work with more industry clients to explore and promote green shipping technology, and inject strong momentum into the green transformation of global shipping industry.
Denis Cederholm-Larsen, the Principal Classification Engineer of Everllence’s classification department, and team members, as well as Shao Qi, senior surveyor at the Gothenburg Office of CCS Hamburg Branch, and Yu Hui, general manager of the Copenhagen Office, attended the certificate-awarding ceremony.
