On May 18, the delivery ceremony of the 2000T wind power installation platform “DA QIAO HAI FENG” built by China Merchants Industry Haimen Base for China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was successfully held at China Merchants Industry Haimen Base. Shen Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Nantong Municipal Party Committee, Ling Yi, Deputy Mayor of the Nantong Municipal People’s Government, Zhang Min, Chairman of China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd., Hu Xianfu, Chairman of China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd., and Cao Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Classification Society (CCS) Jiangsu Branch, attended the ceremony.

“DA QIAO HAI FENG”, 138.3m long, 53m wide, 10m deep and having the maximum operating water depth of 70m, adopts an electric propulsion system to achieve self-navigation function. It is equipped with a 2000T pile-winding crane and a 400T auxiliary crane. This platform, characterized by high degree of automation, high construction efficiency, and strong adaptability to deep-sea construction, can meet the construction needs of “integrated transportation and installation” of high-power wind turbines in the future. The successful delivery of this platform will significantly facilitate the development of China’s far-reaching offshore wind power resources and the implementation of the dual carbon strategy.
