Captain HJ. Mohamad Halim, the Standing Deputy Director of the Marine Department Malaysia participated in the communication and discussion together with the directors and superintendents of the policy, technology and PSC supervision divisions of the Marine Department. During the activity, Mr. Mohamad Halim granted CCS with the RSO (Recognized Security Organizations) authorization certificate.

 

 

 

Mr. Mohamad Halim extended his warm congratulations and greetings to CCS for the office establishment in Malaysia, and sincerely thanked CCS for its help and support. Mr. Halim pointed out that China and Malaysia are friendly neighboring countries facing each other across the sea. The two parties have been keeping good cooperative relationship since long ago, and the establishment of the CCS Kuala Lumpur Office will provide a more convenient platform for deepening the cooperative relationship between both parties in the marine field.

 

Both parties carried out the deep communication focusing on the problems that were concerned about by the Marine Department Malaysia, including LNG bunkering ships, dredger quality, passenger ship stability, the Ballast-Water Management Convention for the waters in Malaysia and the energy efficiency index of ships. Both parties hoped to utilize the establishment of the CCS Kuala Lumpur Office as an opportunity to deepen the technological cooperation and communication in key fields, expand the cooperation space in marine risk management, improve and optimize the regional marine risk management level, and provide better service for the healthy development of the regional marine safety and environmental protection.
