The Greek government and China Classification Society (CCS) held a ceremony for the signing of authorization agreement on June 16, 2022.

Witnessed by Xiao Junzheng, the Ambassador of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Hellenic Republic, Alexandrakis Georgios, the Vice Admiral and Commandant of the Hellenic Coast Guard, and Wang Baochun, the General Manager of CCS Athens Branch, signed the agreement on behalf of two parties, respectively. The agreement signing of this time has been the 4th renewal since 2006 when CCS obtained the statutory authorization from Greek Government for the first time. This authorization is applicable for all the ships on which the Flag of Greece was hung and the companies to which these ships belong to.
