On 22 April, China Classification Society (CCS) actively
participated in Singapore Maritime Week 2026, engaging in a range of activities
focused on green shipping and digital development.
During the exhibition, CCS unveiled multiple
internationally recognized certifications in key areas such as green and
low-carbon ships, ship environmental protection management, and intelligent
ship cyber security, comprehensively demonstrating its high-level, professional
integrated technical service capabilities.
In the field of
methanol-powered green ships, CCS has obtained classification certification for
the Global Energy Group's methanol bunkering vessel project. The vessel
strictly complies with Singapore's TR129 international methanol bunkering
standard, is compatible with B100 biodiesel clean energy, and has been
successfully incorporated into Singapore's Green Ship Initiative.
Issued the classification certificate for methanol fuel
bunkering vessels to Global Energy
In the
field of environmental protection technologies for reducing ship-related
atmospheric emissions, CCS has obtained type approval for the CONTIOCEAN
Environment Tech Group's Open Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS). This
certification marks the further global implementation of CCS's emission
reduction technology standards, providing reliable technical support for ship
pollution control and compliance with international maritime environmental
regulations.
Obtain the
Type Approval Certificate for the Exhaust Gas Cleaning System from CONTIOCEAN
In the field of smart
ships and cyber security, CCS has awarded AQUASYNC the Type Approval
Certificate for Integrated Measurement, Monitoring, Alarm, and Control Systems
(including cyber security level certification). This certificate complies with
IACS UR E27 requirements and meets the Cyber security Class Level 2 standard,
marking CCS's issuance of the world's first cyber security type approval
certificate and demonstrating its technological leadership in smart ship and cyber
security.
Issue the cyber security type certification to AQUASYNC
In addition
to showcasing their achievements at the exhibition booth, experts from the CCS
Overseas Technology Center delivered a keynote speech at the Tech Stage forum,
focusing on digital ship delivery. Through real-world engineering case studies,
they highlighted how digital ship delivery enhances lifecycle management
efficiency and drives the digital transformation of the shipping industry.
CCS experts
delivered a thematic presentation on "Digital Delivery of Ships"
Going
forward, CCS will continue to participate in multiple thematic forums and
exchange seminars during Singapore Maritime Week. Stay tuned!
