Recently, a delegation led by Zhuang Wei, General Manager of BIMCO Asia Pacific Center and Mads Wacher Kj?rgaard, Head of Digitalization Business at BIMCO Headquarters, visited CCS Shanghai Rules & Research Institute.

Recently, a delegation led by Zhuang Wei, General Manager of BIMCO Asia Pacific Center and Mads Wacher Kj?rgaard, Head of Digitalization Business at BIMCO Headquarters, visited CCS Shanghai Rules & Research Institute. The two sides conducted technical exchanges on work related to ship digitization and intelligentization.

 

 

 

During the meeting, CCS engaged in in-depth discussions with participants regarding the progress of IMO MASS code development and its contributions to the process. CCS also shared updates on advancements in CCS Rules for Intelligent Ships, intelligent survey systems, and digital delivery technologies. BIMCO presented its digital transformation initiatives, including intelligent contract implementations and AI applications.

After the exchange, the two sides agreed that in the context of the global shipbuilding and shipping industry actively promoting decarbonization, digitalization and intelligence will play an increasingly important role, and the industry needs to further enhance collaboration to jointly provide solutions.
