The vessel's main and auxiliary engines are equipped with SCR and EGCS systems, meeting Tier III NOx emission requirements and obtaining the SOx emission control notation SEC(EGCS). The design complies with the ‘CCS Green Ecological Ship Code’ and the ‘CCS Intelligent Ship Code’, with an Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) far exceeding the International Maritime Organization's Phase III requirements. It has been awarded the CCS green ecological ship notations G-EP and G-ECO. The successful completion of the BoCom Leasing series of ten 77,000DWTmultipurpose pulp carriers marks an important practice for CCS in participating in China's high-end shipbuilding, promoting green shipping development, and driving innovation-led productivity growth, adding new momentum to building a world-class pulp carrier fleet.
To date, CCS Dalian Branch has successfully completed the job of several series of multipurpose pulp carriers including 20 vessels of the 62,000DWT, 5 vessels of the 68,000DWT and 17 vessels of the 77,000DWT plan approval and new-building. This has accumulated rich experience, facilitated technological upgrades, and laid a solid foundation for the upcoming plan approval and new-building ship survey of the 77,000DWT and 84,500DWTseries of multipurpose pulp carriers.
