China Classification Society (CCS) Held ISM Knowledge Training for Indonesian Shipowners
On December 7, China Classification Society (CCS) held an ISM knowledge training at the Ayana Hotel in Jakarta, and 37 representatives from local Indonesian shipping companies attended the event. The training covers introduction to ISM audit knowledge, deep understanding of ISM rules, risk assessment, and practical application of mandatory requirements including conventions. Through in-depth discussions and interactive learning, the attending representatives jointly explored their understanding of ISM rules and practical experience in shore-based and actual ship management operations.
The representatives expressed that the training significantly contributes to the improvement of ship management and operations, holding profound significance for the Indonesian maritime industry. They hope to work together with CCS and the Indonesian maritime industry in the future to inject new vitality into the industry’s development.
CCS remains committed to enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesian shipping companies in the global market by sharing advanced technological experience, and disseminating the latest international standards. In 2023, CCS has offered various training programs such as PSC cases and bulk carrier inspection and management for TEMAS, TANTO, SOECHI, and other companies, earning praise from clients.
