On the 1st of December 2022, the annual meeting of the China Classification Society (CCS) Singapore Technical Committee was held in Singapore.

On the 1st of December 2022, the annual meeting of the China Classification Society (CCS) Singapore Technical Committee was held in Singapore. 51 representatives from Singapore shipping companies, government, ship management companies, Singapore Shipowners Association, ship design companies and other institutions attended the meeting, Mr. Fan Qiang, vice president of CCS, joined the meeting and delivered a speech online.

 

Mr. Fan Qiang pointed out in his speech that Singapore is one of the international maritime and shipping centres which has gathered a horde of shipping companies and shipping agencies, the goals of CCS are to provide quality services to these enterprises and to contribute to Singapore's shipping industry. CCS’s business has grown steadily in recent years, and has made significant technological progress in shipping decarbonization, new energy, intelligence, digitalization, etc. Mr. Fan Qiang thanks to the long-term supports given by the committees, he avowed that CCS will continue to adhere to its mission and to create growth opportunities and values for the customers in Singapore.
