The Rules for Materials and Welding is the basic rules with respect to materials and welding in CCS rules system, including material properties of steels, aluminum alloys, other non-ferrous metals and non-metals of ships, offshore installations, boilers and pressure vessels etc., as well as welding technical requirements, which are intended to control the safety and quality of ships to an appropriate level and receive wide recognition by the industry.

 

The Rules for Materials and Welding (2022) incorporates 2022 amendments to the Rules for Materials and Welding, on the basis of the Rules for Materials and Welding (2021).

 

Upon effective, the Rules for Materials and Welding(2022) supersedes the Rules for Materials and Welding(2021).
