Technical service related to Shipping and Shipbuilding Carbon Emission Reduction Scheme

release time:2022-03-03 15:03

In order to assist shipping/shipbuilding enterprises to establish carbon emission reduction plans based on their own development and strategic planning needs and to find the " most optimal solution" for emission reduction, so to further enhance their core competitiveness in the context of green and low-carbon development of the industry, CCS provides related services to the industry.

In order to implement China's major strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 and carbon peak by 2030, the transport industry is formulating and implementing relevant policy requirements to promote green and low-carbon development of land and waterway transportation. In the international arena, IMO has established the shipping GHG emission reduction strategy and is accelerating the implementation of relevant short, medium, and long term measures; the European Commission is advancing proposals for a package of legislations and policies on climate, energy, transport and taxation (" Fit for 55 "), three of which are closely related to shipping. Under both domestic and foreign requirements, the shipping and shipbuilding industry is facing more and more stringent requirements for carbon emission management and low-carbon development, which pose new challenges to enterprises in terms of management and operation decision-making.

In order to assist shipping/shipbuilding enterprises to establish carbon emission reduction plans based on their own development and strategic planning needs and to find the " most optimal solution" for emission reduction, so to further enhance their core competitiveness in the context of green and low-carbon development of the industry, CCS provides technical services to the industry:

1.    Related technical service and impact analysis of domestic and foreign policies and regulations

2.    Carbon emission status analysis and emission data processing

3.    Carbon emission prediction model construction

4.    Carbon footprint accounting during ship construction

5.    Carbon reduction technical measures and applicability analysis

6.    Carbon emission reduction route construction and analysis

7.    Core technologies, industrial opportunities and business strategies for green and low-carbon development of shipping/shipbuilding enterprises.
