“Ge Sheng 1 Hao” aquaculture platform classed by CCS is launched to start an intelligent aquaculture mode

Chen Rong, a second level inspector of the Department of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangdong Province, Wang Huoxing, a second level researcher of the Department of Natural Resources of Guangdong Province, Li Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Zhuhai Municipal Party Committee, Yang Chuan, Executive Deputy Mayor of Zhuhai City, and leaders of relevant government departments attended the commissioning ceremony. The construction of the trussed semi-submersible deep-sea aquaculture platform “Ge Sheng 1 Hao” project was started on November 6, 2023, and was successfully launched on June 6, 2024. It is the first modern marine ranch equipment in Zhuhai City, which is independently invested by an enterprise for formal industrial operation.

This platform, 86m long, 32m wide, 16.5m high, with a working draft of 10.5m and a aquaculture water body of over 30,000m3, is mainly used for the aquaculture of golden carp, miiuy, grouper, etc. and exploring the aquaculture production of yellowfin tuna, red croaker, etc.

Based on its environmental monitoring, data collection and analysis, network transmission, and 5G communication systems, it has the advantages of high automation, good stability, low cost, convenient operation, etc. It has created a new model of intelligent deep-sea aquaculture industry, and is an important measure for the commercial practice of building a blue granary in Zhuhai City.
