Three newly developed CCS Guidelines, Guidelines for Ships Using Methanol/Ethanol Fuels (2022), Guidelines for Ships Using Ammonia Fuels (2022), and Guidelines for Ships Using Fuel Cell Power Units came into force from 1st July this year.

Three newly developed CCS Guidelines, Guidelines for Ships Using Methanol/Ethanol Fuels (2022), Guidelines for Ships Using Ammonia Fuels (2022), and Guidelines for Ships Using Fuel Cell Power Units came into force from 1st July this year.

 

These Guidelines provide solid and clear technical basis for the design, construction, operation and survey of ships using alcohols, ammonia and hydrogen as fuel, and thus support the industry to accelerate the deployment and development of alternative fuels powered ships.
