The International Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment, Machinery and Technology Exhibition (SMM) in Hamburg is one of the largest and most influential trade fairs in the maritime industry all over the world. Due to the epidemic, SMM Hamburg 2020, originally scheduled from September 8 to 11, 2020, was postponed and will be held online only in digital form ("SMM DIGITAL") from February 2 to 5, 2021, when it will be unprecedentedly open to all visitors for the first time in a digital virtual exhibition format, free of charge (https://www.smm-hamburg.com/en/).

During the four-day online exhibition, SMM DIGITAL will offer exciting programs through two channels - Conference Stream and Open Stream. All Conference Stream programs will be live-streamed on the web as well as recorded for future replay, while the Open Stream programs will be pre-recorded and played in the open stream channel. Many conferences, reports and forums will be broadcast in parallel by topics (see event schedule https://www.smm-hamburg.com/en/smm-streams/programme-overview). The agenda of the conference stream channel will cover the topics in the maritime sector, with the Maritime Future Summit as the main opening session, which covers several areas such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, and big data.

The Maritime Future Summit will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 14:45 p.m. Berlin time (17:30-21:45 Beijing time) on February 2. At the summit, Mr. Ma Jilin, an intelligent ship expert from CCS, will deliver a keynote speech titled "Is unmanned bridge ready", introducing the fundamental, strategic and forward-looking technical research and important achievements of CCS in the field of intelligent ships.
