This RCN contains the following
revisions:
PART ONE:
Adding a new C7 according to PR1A
(Rev.10 Oct 2024), requiring passenger ships to submit additional
drawings/documents.
PART THREE:
1. Incorporating UR M46 to add reference
explanations;
2. Incorporating UR M25 (Rev.5 Dec 2024).
The main propulsion astern power used in the astern trial refers to the minimum
astern power required by SOLAS II-1 / 28.1, and the maximum value is specified.
The main propulsion astern revolutions are not associated with ahead rated
revolutions;
3. Incorporating UR P4 (Rev.8 Sep 2024)
to specify that the penetrations used for the passage of plastic piping systems
shall be successfully prototype tested for watertight integrity, after the fire
test suitable for the installation position;
4. Incorporating UR M10 to add requirements
for provision of ventilation pipes, equivalent measuring devices, alarm
arrangement information;
5. Incorporating UR M52 to refer to UR
M85;
6. Corrigendum of one of the values of
the parameter G according to the FSCIR 2021 version.
PART SIX:
Revising 3.4.13
according to the latest UR F44 Rev.3 Corr.1.
PART SEVEN:
Revising
the stage of verification for project specific implementation of the procedure
for management of change of a computer-based system in accordance with IACS UR
E22.Rev.3.Corr.1.
PART EIGHT:
1. Corrigendum according to URI3(Rev.2
Corr.1 Dec 2024);
2. Adding a new Chapter 39 Technical
requirements for Enhanced Firefighting Safety of ro-ro transportation of
lithium battery power vehicles.
This RCN is recommended to take effect on 1 January 2026.
