                                                   MODIFICATION DESCRIPTION FOR GUIDELINES FOR REMOTE SURVEY OF SHIPS


1. Revise the preface and adjust the text structure;

2. Delete the content related to remote statutory survey in Article 1.2.1;

3. Article 1.2.2 is added to provide principle requirements for remote survey of statutory items;

4. According to Article 5.1.1.3 of IACS UR Z29, Article 3.3.6 of the Guidelines is revised;

5. According to Article 5.1.1.5 of IACS UR Z29, Article 3.4.3 of the Guidelines is revised.
