CCS Issues the AIP Certificate for Ship Type of Methanol Duel Fueled VLCC 2022-02-22
Recently, China Classification Society CCS issued the first Approval in Principle AiP certificate for ship type design of methanol dual fueled VLCC developed by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd DSIC and COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation Co., Ltd CSET.
CCS Issues the World’s First AIP Certificate for Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage System 2022-02-21
Recently, Meng Lingyi, General Manager of China Classification Society CCS Shanghai Branch, issued the world’s first Approval in Principle AiP certificate for onboard carbon capture and storage system developed by Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute SMDERI.
CCS and CRRCYG Held a Certification Ceremony for 40 Feet Marine LNG Tank Container 2022-02-18
On January 21, 2022, the certification ceremony for 40 feet marine LNG tank container developed by CRRC Yangtze Group Co., Ltd CRRCYG was held in Wuhan. Xu Li, General Manager of China Classification Society CCS Wuhan Branch and Zhang Housheng, Chairman of CRRCYG, witnessed the ceremony.

The 140-meter Pile-Driving Barge YI HANG JIN ZHUANG was officially delivered on January 7th, 2022, and it was independently invested and developed by the CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co. Ltd., built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. and surveyed by the Qidong Project Team of China Classification Society CCS Jiangsu Branch.
