China Classification Society Attends the Second Shipowners and Ship Management Forum in Saudi Arabia 2025-04-30
On April 23, the Second Annual Ship Owners & Operators Forum in Saudi Arabia, hosted by the Transport General Authority TGA of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was held in Al Khobar. His Excellency the Acting President of TGA Dr. Rumaih bin Muhammad Al-Rumaih delivered a speech at the event. Chen Jiping, General Manager of the China Classification Society CCS Dubai Branch, and Zhu Chenglei, Head of CCS Dammam Office, were invited to attend.
China Classification Society Facilitates Commissioning of CNOOC's Wenchang 9-7 Oilfield 2025-04-28
Recently, the subsea mixed pipeline from the Wenchang 14-3 platform to the Wenchang 9-7 platform,surveyed and certified by the China Classification Society CCS, was officially put into operation. This marks the formal integration of the Wenchang 9-7 Oilfield into CNOOC Wenchang Operating Company’s production network, injecting new momentum into offshore oil and gas resource development in the South China Sea.
"Family Portrait" of Pulp Carriers 2025-04-28
On April 18, 2025, the 77,000-DWT multipurpose pulp carrier "GREEN SEPETIBA" which plan approved and newbuliding surveyed by China Classification Society CCS, was successfully named and delivered. Mr. Zhang Hui, the General Manager of CCS Dalian Branch attended the naming ceremony.
