The 2026 North Bund Forum will take place in Shanghai on October 20-21, 2026, under the theme “Common Challenge, Shared Mission - Promoting the Resilient Development of Global Shipping & Aviation.”

The 2026 North Bund Forum will take place in Shanghai on October 20-21, 2026, under the theme “Common Challenge, Shared Mission - Promoting the Resilient Development of Global Shipping & Aviation.”

On the afternoon of October 21, the Digitalization and Intelligentization Forum, jointly organized by China Classification Society (CCS) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, will be held at the Grand Halls.

Forum Theme and Focus  

Under the theme “Empowering Resilience with Digital & Smart Solutions,” the forum will focus on strengthening industry resilience, exploring the opportunities and challenges of digital and intelligent transformation, and identifying practical pathways for new quality productive forces in shipping. It will bring together global shipping professionals and create collaborative channels across government, industry associations, enterprises, and universities - leveraging digital and intelligent technologies to transform shipping operations and management systems, and driving the industry’s digital transformation to new heights.
