Independently developed and designed by DSIC, the vessel
is a second-generation large LNG carrier. Equipped with advanced technologies
and favorable performance parameters, it fully meets the operational
requirements of mainstream LNG shipping routes worldwide. The vessel achieves
leading principal dimensions and transport efficiency among peer ships of its
kind; the construction standards, safety codes and quality management systems align
with the world’s most stringent industrial benchmarks, delivering further
improvements in economic performance and seaworthiness.
Currently, CCS Dalian Branch is carrying out construction
surveys for a total of 11 vessels in the 175,000 m3 LNG carrier
series. The construction schedule features tight timelines and numerous
critical milestones. The construction survey team maintains close coordination
with the shipowner, shipyard and other relevant stakeholders, keeps pace with
production progress, draws on survey experience accumulated from earlier sister
ships, and proactively facilitates the resolution of technical challenges,
providing end-to-end, all-round survey services and technical support for the
newbuilding program. Despite the sweltering working conditions, CCS
surveyors have remained stationed on-site, working through extreme heat to
safeguard key project milestones, upholding rigorous professionalism and an
efficient, pragmatic work ethic to guarantee the
high-quality delivery of the vessels.
