On January 7, 2025, the first vessel “BYD HEFEI” of the 7000 dual-fuel pure car truck carrier (PCTC) series, which was constructed by Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) for BYD (HK) Co., Ltd. and surveyed by China Classification Society (CCS), was officially named and delivered. Zhou Liwei, Deputy General Manager of CCS Guangzhou Branch, was invited to attend the naming and delivery ceremony.
