Chinese Style “Going Out” to International Stage, and CCS Stands Out in the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) with Excellent Performance
Recently, China
Classification Society (CCS) attended the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC)
held at the NRG Center in Houston, known as the “energy capital” of the US. The
theme of the conference this year is “Leading Global Energy Evolution.”.
At this OTC, CCS
has showcased the latest technological service achievements in traditional
offshore oil and gas engineering, offshore wind power, and other new energy
fields to the industry in recent years.
For example, the
world’s first 100,000t semi-submersible production and storage platform FPSO
“Deep Sea No. 1,” Asia’s first 300-meter deep-water jacket “Haiji-1,” Asia’s
first cylindrical floating, production, storage, and offloading (FPSO)
facility, and China’s first deep-sea floating wind power platform “CNOOC
Guanlan.”
In addition, CCS
has also demonstrated its latest technical service products and global
technical service capabilities in an all-round manner through multimedia forms
such as video. Among them, CCS’s technical service products have attracted
widespread attention and strong interest from customers in Europe, America,
Southeast Asia, and China, including lifecycle technical services, offshore
wind power services, engineering critical assessment (ECA), risk-based
inspection (RBI), marine environmental data library application, subsea
production systems (SPS), inspection of special products for offshore industry,
etc.
In this year, CCS’
stand has attracted marine professionals from regulatory authorities, petroleum
companies, engineering design companies, scientific research institutions,
technical service companies, professional equipment manufacturers, etc. around
the world by virtue of its design concept of “openness, inclusiveness, Chinese
style, international style” and “professional and diversified” technical
service capabilities. CCS has interacted with new and old customers in a
face-to-face manner at the event site to promote CCS’s service products and
explore future development space and cooperation directions.
