CCS Has Completed Another Great Mission! Successful Delivery of SITC 1800TEU M/V “SITC WENDE” Container Ship

On the 29th August 2022, M/V “SITC WENDE” - the last container ship of 1800TEU series which was built by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and classified by China Classification Society (CCS)  was successfully delivered to SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd.

On the 29th August 2022, M/V “SITC WENDE” - the last container ship of 1800TEU series which was built by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and classified by China Classification Society (CCS)  was successfully delivered to SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. This marks that CCS brought construction survey of this series of ships to a successful conclusion. Mr. Yang Xianxiang - Vice Chairman / CEO of SITC, Mr. Ren Letian – Chairman of YANGZIJIANG Shipbuilding Group, Mr. Cai Gao – Manager of CCS Jiangyin Office, and guests attended the ceremony of delivery.

 

 

 

Ship Particulars

 

This ship has an overall length of 171.99 meters, 28.40 meters moulded width, 14.50 meters moulded depth, designed draft of 8.5 meters and the maximum load of 1800TEU.

 

 

 

Project team “XIN YANG ZI” of CCS Jiangyin Office of Jiangsu Branch undertook surveys of 1800TEU series container ships. In order to see the project through to high quality completion within the schedule, our surveyors worked closely and efficiently with ship owner and shipyard by using their expertise to identify and resolve issues arised in the process of construction.

The successful delivery of 1800TEU series of container ships is the result of joint efforts of ship owner, shipyard and the classification society. And CCS has also accumulated valuable experiences from this project. Both ship owner and shipyard showed their gratefulness to the “XIN YANG ZI” project team several times during the process of the project.
