The current position：

Undock! ZHONG GU JI NAN, the first 4,600 TEU container ship surveyed by CCS!

Recently, the undocking ceremony for ZHONG GU JI NAN, the first 4,600 TEU container ship in a series of ten built by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for shanghai Zhonggu Logistics Co. Ltd., was held.

Recently, the undocking ceremony for ZHONG GU JI NAN, the first 4,600 TEU container ship in a series of ten built by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for shanghai Zhonggu Logistics Co. Ltd., was held.  Plan approval and building survey for above project was Carried out by China Classification Society (CCS).

 

 

 

Deadweight of above type of ship is approximate 89200 Tons, with design capacity over 4,600 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). It equipped with main power about 14,000 kW which ensures its  shipping speed of 15 knots, and the durability  of 10,000 sea miles. As planned, these ships will be put into operation of the Southeast Asia shipping route. As per application, This ship will obtain the additional notation of ecological conservation (ecological conservation) and environmental protection (G-EP), which is an important practice of Zhonggu Logistics' comprehensive implementation of the green development philosophy and acceleration of the green low-carbon transformation of shipping.

 

Regardless of the high-temperature weather these days, the marine surveyors of the site project team from CCS Jiangsu Branch continued their work unwaveringly, and never gave up working! They held fast to their posts, and actively cooperated with the shipyard to sort out the new items requiring survey before the ship’s launching, and conducted survey whenever necessary, thus ensuring the production progress of the shipyard.
