On March 4, 2022, the 49,900 DWT MR-type product & crude oil tanker YUAN YU HE, of which the plan approval and ship survey were conducted by CCS Dalian Branch, was successfully delivered in COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Yue Mengqiang, deputy general manager of CCS Dalian Branch, attended the delivery ceremony.
YUAN YU HE is the second energy-saving and environment-friendly MR-type product & crude oil tanker customized by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) Co., Ltd. for COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. The ship is classed by CCS as a single class.
The tanker is a typical green intelligent ship with a total length about 182.9 m, breadth 32.26 m and maximum dead weight capacity 49,842 tons. It is characterized by structural safety, environmental intelligence, outstanding economy, etc. The structural design conforms to the latest CSR-H Rules and meets the requirements of advanced empty ship weight index. Its emission of nitrogen oxides meets the requirements of NOx Tier III, so it is granted the CCS intelligent energy efficiency management function notation i-Ship (E) and the green ship additional notation Green Ship I. Equipped with high-efficiency propeller and energy-saving conduit device, the ship has become a powerful assurance of rapidity and fuel economy.
