Rules for Construction and Classification of Sea-Going High Speed Craft (2015) will be effective on 1 November, 2015. It will replace the Rules for Construction and Classification of Sea-Going High Speed Craft (2012) and the associated Corrigenda, i.e., October, 2013, Corrigenda No.1; October, 2013, Corrigenda No.1; August, 2014, Corrigenda No.2.

    Please be kindly informed that, new requirements on the direct calculations of hull structure strength of high speed craft made of composite material (including Glass fibre, Carbon fibre and Aramid), are introduced in the Rules for Construction and Classification of Sea-Going High Speed Craft (2015) based on CCS research results, and minimum thickness of the plates will be reduced if composite material is used.
