1 The Guideline applies to telecontrol system with diesel engine as the propelling engine used on ships and marine installations (excluding the electric propulsion telecontrol system with electromotor as the propelling engine).
2 The Guideline applies to the electric-pneumatic Main Engine Remote Control System. For other control modes, such as the electro-hydraulic type, full-pneumatic type, full-electric type, and flexible shaft type, refer to relevant requirement of the Guideline.
