Mr. Sun Licheng was born in December 1957 in LiaoNing Province of China, he joined China Classification Society (CCS) in December 2006 as Party Secretary & Senior Vice President.

1982.7  Bachelor’s Degree in Navigation, Dalian Maritime University

1988.7  Master’s Degree in Navigation, Dalian Maritime University

2000.7  Doctor’s Degree in Traffic Information Engineering & Control, Dalian Maritime University

1982.10-1994.10   Worked as lecturer, associate professor, professor, oceangoing ship second mate, mate and captain successively at Dalian Maritime University

1994.10-2004.9  Successively held the posts of Head of Continuing Education School, Head of Navigation College, Deputy　President and the Party Committee member of Dalian Maritime University

2004.9-2006.12 Party Secretary & Deputy Chief of Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration

2006.12-2011.12   Party Secretary & Senior Vice President of CCS

2012.1-Now   Chairman & President of CCS
