GUIDELINES FOR STATUTORY SURVEYS OF SEA-GOING SHIPS ENGAGED ON NON-INTERNATIONAL VOYAGES

The Guidelines for Statutory Surveys of Sea-Going Ships Engaged on Non-International Voyages (hereinafter referred to as “the Guidelines”) has been developed by China Classification Society (hereinafter referred to as CCS) for the purpose of implementation of the statutory services for sea-going ships engaged on non-international voyages outside China.

The Guidelines applies to the following cases:

(1) where the flag State Administration approves the Guidelines and authorizes CCS to issue relevant statutory certificates in accordance with the requirements of the Guidelines; or

(2) where the customer accepts the Guidelines and entrusts CCS to issue relevant survey certificates in accordance with the requirements of the Guidelines.

 

The Guidelines for Statutory Surveys of  Sea-Going Ships Engaged on Non-International Voyages is effective from July 1, 2015.
