1 This guideline is applicable to the hydraulic motors (rated pressure ≤42Mpa) intended to be installed on seagoing ships and offshore installations classed with CCS.
2 The hydraulic motors refer to in this Guideline mainly include:
(1) Axial piston and radial piston hydraulic motors;
(2) External involute gear motors;
(3) Vane motors;
(4) Hydraulic swing motors.
Reference to this chapter may be made for hydraulic motors of other types.
