Recently, Mr. Guy Platten, Secretary of General of International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and his delegation visited China Classification Society (CCS) Hong Kong Branch.

Recently, Mr. Guy Platten, Secretary of General of International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and his delegation visited China Classification Society (CCS) Hong Kong Branch. The general Manager of CCS (HK) branch, Mr. Tian Dongming had an in-depth exchange with Mr. Guy Platten.

Mr. Tian Dongming gave a warm welcome to Mr. Guy Platten and his delegation. Then he introduced the basic situation of CCS business scopes, recent technical achievements, international collaboration and future development aims.

Guy Platten expressed his appreciation for the high-quality development of CCS in recent years, and hoped to carry out in-depth cooperation with CCS on low-emission ships, energy-saving ships, dual-fuel ships, and pure battery-powered ships in the future.

Both parties agreed that they will continue to maintain close contact and look forward to further cooperation.

Mr. Simon Bennett, the deputy Secretary General ICS, Mr. Laura Worley, the senior administrative assistant and the relevant personnel from CCS Hong Kong Branch, also participated in this meeting.
