GUIDELINES FOR STATUTORY SURVEYS OF INLAND WATERWAY SHIPS

The Guidelines for Statutory Surveys of Inland Waterway Ships (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines) is formulated by China Classification Society (hereinafter referred to as CCS), in order to carry out statutory services for surveys of inland waterway ships outside China and guarant the integrity of technical specifications and standards for inspection. The Guidelines apply to the following cases:

(1) The Administration approves the Guidelines and authorizes CCS to issue the relevant statutory certificates in accordance with the Guidelines; or

(2) The shipowner, ship designer or shipyard (hereinafter referred to as the Client) accepts the Guidelines and entrusts CCS with the issuance of the relevant certificates in accordance with the Guidelines.

 

The Guidelines for Statutory Surveys of Inland Waterway Ships is effective from July 1, 2015.
