Rules For Classification Of Sea-Going Steel Ships Amendments

CCS Rules for Classification of Sea-Going Steel Ships has been amended (refer to Amendments (Jan. 2014)) and the main changes are summarized as follows:

1 - IACS UR Z18- rev.3“Periodical survey of Machinery”

2 - IACS PR1A- “Procedure for Transfer of Class”.

3 – Some amendments based on the feedbacks from users，including“PART TWO　 CHAPTER 4　STRENGTHENING FOR NAVIGATION IN ICE”, “PART TWO CHAPTER 8　Appendix 2　HOLD MASS CURVES”, and “PART EIGHT CHAPTER 9 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIPS HAVING INDEPENDENT ICEBREAKING CAPALITY”,etc.

4 – Corrigenda 1(1 July 2012 consolidated edition ) and Corrigenda 2( 1 July 2012 consolidated edition ) for CSR.

5 – Some editorial corrections.

The CCS RCN No.1 and CCS RCN No.2 are superseded by these Amendments (Jan. 2014) which will enter into force on 1st January 2014.
