The current position：

Guidelines for Inspection of Hull Welds

 The following key points are addressed during the process of update:

qualification tests of welders, design and approval of welding procedures, special welding procedures, design of welding procedures of hull structures, latest version of Rec.47 adopted by IACS, NDT and relative reports, etc.

The Guidelines enter into force from November 1, 2013 and the previous version, i.e., Guidelines for Inspection of Hull Welds (2008) are revoked.
