The current position：

LNG Dual-Fuel Car Carrier(PCTC) “AICC KUNPENG” was launched

On March 19, 2025, the LNG Dual-Fuel Car Carrier (PCTC) “AICC KUNPENG” which with 7000 berth capacity was launched successfully at Zhoushan. The 7000-berth PCTC was invested by Anhui Hangrui International Ro/Ro Transportation Co., Ltd., a subsidiary corporation of Anhui Provincial Port & Shipping Group.

China Classification Society (CCS) Zhoushan office carried out the construction survey.  

 


 

The edge-cutting technology adopted on the vessel made “AICC KUNPENG” applicable for all categories of vehicles including passenger vehicles, heavy trucks, engineering machinery and new energy vehicles.

The global-leading LNG dual-fuel low-speed main engine system with a dual-fuel main generator and auxiliary boiler system installed, formed a complete clean energy power matrix. For the environmental protection, the vessel was equipped with a dual environmental barrier of intelligent Exhaust Gas Re-Circulation System (iCER) and Selective Catalytic Reduction Device (SCR). The nitrogen oxide emissions for the newly launched vessel would achieve the TIER III standard of International Maritime Organization(IMO) regulation.

During the construction survey, CCS Zhoushan office sincerely dedicated to customer service and professional technical support for the successful launching of “AICC KUNPENG”.
