Two Ships Delivered in Half a Month, CCS 62,000T Heavy Lift Multi-purpose Vessel “TAI FU” and “HONG FU” Were Delivered

On November 26, 2024, the 62,000T heavy lift multi-purpose vessel “TAI FU” constructed by CHENGXI SHIPYARD (YANGZHOU) CO., LTD.

On November 26, 2024, the 62,000T heavy lift multi-purpose vessel “TAI FU” constructed by CHENGXI SHIPYARD (YANGZHOU) CO., LTD. for Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (BOCOM Leasing) successfully delivered. Leaders from the Shipping Leasing Department of BOCOM Leasing, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd., Wah Kwong Ship Manegement (Shenzhen & HK) limited and Zhenjiang Office of CCS Jiangsu Branch attended the delivery ceremony.

The ship Length overall is 199.90 meters, Moulded breadth 32.26 meters, Moulded depth 19.30 meters, designed Draught 11.30 meters, and a designed speed 14.4 knots. The cargo hold adopts a large opening and box structure, with a maximum length of about 40 meters. It is equipped with two 150 ton and two 80 ton heavy cranes, as well as cargo hold loading and deck loading capabilities to load various heavy equipment, pulp, solid bulk cargo, containers, new energy vehicles, etc., truly achieving multi-function and multi-purpose. At the same time, the ship meets the Phase III standard of energy efficiency index and the T3 emission requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and the latest SOx emission requirements.

“HONG FU”, the first ship of this series, successfully delivered 11 days ago. The successful delivery of two ships within half a month has demonstrated the service capabilities of CCS Jiangsu Branch. CCS will fully cooperate with the shipyard’s production schedule and efficiently complete relevant surveys.
