Recently, the 24th ShipTek International Maritime Conference & Awards was held in Dubai. Mr. Chen Jiping, General Manager of the China Classification Society (CCS) Dubai Branch, attended the event and held in-depth exchanges with global shipping, energy, maritime administration and technical service stakeholders. “GUO QIANG HAI”, China’s First Vessel Awarded CCS GSC1 Class Notation for Newbuilding Carbon Footprint, Named and Delivered

On 30 September 2026, “GUO QIANG HAI”, the first domestic newbuilding awarded China Classification Society’s (CCS) GSC1 class notation for newbuilding carbon footprint, was named and delivered. Senior representatives from COSCO SHIPPING Bulk Co., Ltd., COSCO SHIPPING Development Co., Ltd., COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and other relevant organizations attended the ceremony. Mr. Xing Fanhui from CCS Dalian Branch also attended as an invited guest.

China Classification Society-Surveyed 50,000 DWT MR Product Tanker “ZHI NENG YUN FAN” Named and Delivered

On September 28th, 2026, the 50,000 dwt MR product tanker “ZHI NENG YUN FAN”, with plan approval and survey undertaken by China Classification Society (CCS), was successfully named and delivered. Mr. Yue Mengqiang, Deputy General Manager of CCS Dalian Branch, attended the ceremony.
