Description:Guoxin-CSSC (Qingdao) Marine Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, jointly held a signing ceremony for the 100KT Intelligent Fishery Heavy-duty Aquaculture Support Ship Building Project on June 3.

Guoxin-CSSC (Qingdao) Marine Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, jointly held a signing ceremony for the 100KT Intelligent Fishery Heavy-duty Aquaculture Support Ship Building Project on June 3. Zhong Xiaojin, the Vice President of China Classification Society (CCS), was invited to attend and address the ceremony.

This 100KT Intelligent Fishery Heavy-duty Aquaculture Support Ship Project is an integrated demonstration project that responds to the national strategy of a powerful marine country, realizes the traditional drivers being replaced by new ones in the shipbuilding industry, and expands the space for land use in distant seas. It is also a "Chinese Solution" for the development of aquaculture in distant seas, and is of great significance for improving the level of marine equipment in China and the high-quality development of the industry. The project is classified in CCS.

In the early stage of the project, CCS had provided excellent pre-contract services, visited Guoxin-CSSC and Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry multiple times, and also provided continuous technical support. In view of the particularity of this project, CCS had conducted many exchanges and discussions with the Fishery Machinery and Instrument Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, the designer, with the purpose to solve the problem of applicability of the design and specifications. In view of the novelty in design, CCS had carried out research on key technologies such as position mooring evaluation, special bulkhead evaluation and breeding tank sloshing evaluation with those in the industry.

Vice President Zhong Xiaojin said in his speech that CCS would continue to cooperate with shipyards, ship-owners, local governments and maritime supervision departments in the later stage of the project construction, so as to properly handle and serve the project and enhance its influence. CCS would also continue to invest in research and development of related technologies. CCS would, as always, focus on the accumulation of experience and technologies, speed up the transformation of norms and standards, serve practical applications, and create greater value for customers and the society.
