On June 7, 2013, China Classification Society (CCS) and China Transport Telecommunications & Information Center (CTTIC) signed a framework cooperation agreement in Beijing. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Sun Licheng, CCS President, Mr. Pei Wanfa, CCS Party Secretary & Vice President, Mr. Jiang Liqun, CCS Vice Party Secretary & Head of Discipline Inspection Group, Mr. Cao Desheng, CTTIC Director and Mr. Qiu Jianhua, CTTIC Party Secretary. Mr. Mo Jianhui, CCS Vice President and Mr. He Huiliang, CTTIC Deputy Director signed the agreement on behalf of the two organizations.
Adhering to the principles of friendly cooperation, mutual benefit, complementary advantage, resource sharing and joint development, both sides will take advantage of respective resources, technologies and products to carry out a comprehensive cooperation in such areas as information resource sharing, maritime satellite communications, fiber optic highway network, equipment testing, ministerial-level network access and maintenance of information system, aiming to achieve the goals of resource sharing and win-win development. This marks that both parties will establish a comprehensive, multidisciplinary and long-term strategic cooperation partnership.
