On 9 April 2013, CCS Party Secretary & Vice President Mr. Pei Wanfa received and held a friendly talk with the high-profile delegation including Mr. Bo Cerup-Simonsen, Maersk Vice President, Mr. Anders Wurtzen, Maersk Senior Vice President and Head of Group Public Affairs and Mr. Jens Eskelund, Managing Director of Maersk China Ltd.

Mr. Pei Wanfa introduced to the delegation about CCS’s recent development, fleet growth and composition, safety and quality performance, offshore engineering and industrial businesses as well as latest technical research and development (R&D) achievements. Mr. Bo Cerup-Simonsen spoke highly of the achievements of CCS and expressed his confidence in bilateral cooperation. Both sides also fully exchanged views and information on many issues of common concern including improvement of energy efficiency of vessels in operation, energy-saving technology applied in the newbuildings, and other latest technologies in the shipping field. Besides, both sides discussed the direction and potential areas of future cooperation. Both parties agreed that the bilateral cooperation would bring about win-win outcome and looked forward to meeting again for further exchange of cooperation matters.
