On March 18, China Classification Society (CCS) and the Export-Import Bank of China (China Exim Bank) signed a new strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Both sides will carry out an in-depth cooperation in such areas as the system for evaluation of shipyards and shipowners, construction of the system for risk management and evaluation after loan, recommendation of high-quality customers and projects, utilization of terms of classification, one-stop service as well as exchanges of talent, technology and information.
Mr. Sun Licheng, CCS Chairman & President and Mr. Sun Ping, Vice President of China Eximbank successively delivered an address on the signing ceremony. They said that the cooperation between CCS and China Eximbank had been successful and played an important role in promoting the development of China¡¯s shipbuilding, shipping and ship financing market since the signing of the previous strategic cooperation agreement. Under the current shipping and shipbuilding situation, both sides will continue to maintain and develop the long-term and stable strategic cooperative relationship, further refine the content of cooperation and substantially boost bilateral strategic cooperation. Both sides will support the development of China¡¯s shipping, shipbuilding and related industries, promote independent technological innovation in developing ship types and products, and build a national brand in the world.

Mr. Pei Wanfa, CCS Party Secretary & Vice President, Mr. Mo Jianhui, CCS Vice president, Mr. Zhu Kai, CCS Vice president, Mr. Wu Gang, General Manager of Business Development & Innovation Department of China Eximbank, and a number of other guests attended the signing ceremony.
