On June 9, China Classification Society (CCS) and China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in CCS Headquarters, the scope of which covers technical exchanges in design and construction of port, road and bridge, manufacture of port machinery and equipment, dredging, railway construction, etc. In future, CCS will enhance cooperation with CCCC in classification survey and certification, emergency response service, quality management system certification, assessment of ship condition and management competence, NDT testing, supervision of equipment manufacture, certification and inspection of heavy lift equipment as well as other transportation products, and extend full support to CCCC to achieve substantial development and realize its goal of becoming the first-rate infrastructure construction company in the world.

The signing ceremony was attended by heads and delegates from both sides, including Mr. Li Kejun, CCS Chairman & President, Mr. Sun Licheng, CCS Party Secretary, Mr. Gao Zhaojie, CCS Vice President, Mr. Zhou Jichang, CCCC Chairman, and Mr. Chen Yun, CCCC Vice President.
