Supported and coordinated by Mr. Richard Sadler, CEO of Lloyd's Register, CCS has received generous donation of over 400 books from Newcastle's School of Marine Science and Technology, including journals, textbooks and papers on naval architecture, marine engineering, ship survey, shipbuilding history, etc. Many of them are very precious especially for the Chinese readers. CCS highly appreciates the support and donation of LR and Newcastle's School of Marine Science and Technology.  

Presently, these books are exhibited at the marine club of CCS Beijing. The donation has further enriched collection of CCS library, and provides valuable data and material resources for China's maritime community and CCS staff.
